Avoiding click on everythingTo reinforce the idea of making meaningful decisions, think of ways of discouraging your learners from simply clicking on every node available (just in case they miss something). Some of us derogatively call this 'Click for a Clue'. There are various ways to do this. You can link some choices to negative Counter scores or negative Feedback. Of course, you can lead them off into pathways which really reinforce that a particular choice should be avoided. But you can also provide them with many many choices. Some would suggest that to discourage such blind clicking, you might want to present them with 12-20 choices at each point, so it becomes impractical or too time consuming to click through everything.
