Decide to do First Prenatal

Because of your concern about her lack of PN care you decide to get as much information as possible today. As you fill out the provincial prenatal form, you find there is no signficant family history or personal medical problems. She denies any allergies.

However, when you get to the social history part of the form there are a number of red flags. You ask her about smoking and she reports she smokes 1/2 pack/day.  She admits to regular drug use & daily alcohol.
