Provide some brief advice linking substance use to health, academic, & social consequences.

Mention that you always worry about the role of peer pressure and ask him to think about whether that is a problem in his case. and Review concerns about peer pressure and move to more dangerous drugs.

Negotiate that he will not drive while using substances and he will not get in a car with someone who is.
